A market participant shared that there are two iron ore import vessels of Assmang lump to arrive at Indian port in the month of Feb’16.
Vessel carrying 80,000 MT lump is expected to arrive at Gangavaram Port. Another vessel carrying 90,000 MT lump is likely to arrive at Krishnapatnam Port. As per sources both the vessels were booked by southern India based importers on spot iron ore index basis.
A market source based in west India shared that there is one import vessel carrying 64,000 MT Assmang lump to arrive towards the end of Jan’16 or early Feb’16.
As per data tracked by SteelMint, till date there are five iron ore import vessels to India for the month of Jan’16.
