As per notification issued by Richard’s Bay Port Terminal, the port is experiencing bad weather condition since 01st October, 2016, affecting the berthing and sailing of vessels. It is expected that vessel arriving to the port will have a knock on effect.

The high wind speeds are further affecting the performances, berthing are getting delayed due to dangerous working condition on the loader, particularly on the vessels berthing at berth 801.
On an average, 4 to 5 Coal vessels are berthed at RBCT daily, around 300,000 MT Coal is berthed at the port on a daily basis.
