USA: Steel exports down 3%, m-o-m, in Sep’21

USA’s steel exports stood at 0.47 mn t in Sep’21, down 3% against 0.49 mn t in Aug, as per SteelMint data.

• HRC/plate exports stood at 135,741 t, while CRC stood at 37,325 t.
• Galvanised and electrical steel exports rose by 5% and 2%, respectively.
• Pipes and tubes exports fell by 11% to 55,417 t.
• Mexico, Canada and Pakistan were the top exporting destinations.
