Novelis Inc, the world leader in aluminum rolling and recycling, has reportedly broken ground on an advanced automotive recycling centre in North America. The project will have an annual casting capacity of 240,000 t of sheet ingot, involving an investment of $365 million. The facility, expected to be operational in 2024, will reduce the company’s carbon emissions by more than 1 mnt every year.
