According to USA customs data, USA flat steel exports which includes (7208 HR coils/Plates,7209 CR coils, 7210, 7212 GP/GC and 7225 electrical sheets) witness the rise of 24%, in H1CY17 to 2.85 MnT in contrast to 2.29 MnT in first half of 2016.
On monthly basis, nation’s flat steel exports fall down by 11% to 0.5 MnT in Jun’17 against May’17. In May’17 the same stood at 0.56 MnT.
Although on yearly premise nation’s flat steel exports moved down significantly by 38% against 0.35 MnT in Jun’16.

Country-wise USA Flat Steel Exports in H1CY17-Canada was the major flat steel importer from USA and accounted for 47.84% of share in H1CY17.Other countries include Mexico with 45.6% of share and 0.96% of share from India.
