USA: Ferrous scrap exports increase by 4%, m-o-m in Jun’22

Ferrous scrap exports by the USA inched up by 4%, m-o-m, to 1.63 mnt in Jun’22 against 1.57 mnt in May, as per SteelMint data.
Mexico continued to be the top importer at 0.53 mnt followed by Turkiye and Bangladesh at 0.38 mnt and 0.22 mnt, respectively.
Similarly, on a y-o-y basis too, export volumes were up by 4% compared to Jun’21.
