USA: Ferrous scrap exports decline by 28% m-o-m in Nov’22

USA’s ferrous scrap exports decreased by 28% m-o-m to 1.2 mnt in Nov’22 as against 1.66 mnt in Oct’22.
India emerged as the top importer at 307,100 t followed by Turkiye at 183,109 t and Mexico at 178,977 t.
Total scrap exports by the country stood at 15.61 mnt in Jan-Nov’22, down 5% over the CPLY.
