US scrap export market remains calm

US East Coast (USEC)
scrap export prices remain unchanged from last week while offers from US West
Coast (USEC) have slightly moved up.

No new bulk dealings have been closed from last week in US ferrous scrap export market. Turkish
buyers remain out of the market due to Ramadan holidays and lower buying
interest in domestic market

US: Exporters
are offering HMS 1&2 (80:20) at $405-410/MT CFR Turkey for higher quality
from the last week. US East Coast (USEC) scrap suppliers have made no changes
in the offers for global buyers including Turkey. HMS1&2 (80:20) and
shredded scrap offered at $405-410/MT CFR and $415-420/MT CFR Turkey respectively,
while Turkey steel mills are expecting $400/MT CFR.

Turkey: One European exporter has quoted HMS 1&2 (80:20) cargoes at $390/MT
CFR Black sea, but Turkish mills are expecting a further price cut.

India:
Offers remain stable at $400-410/MT CFR Nhava Sheva Mumbai for HMS 1&2 (80:20)
(US, UK origin material) since July. Offers from Dubai are also stable at
$405-410/MT CFR for the same grade.
