US: RMDAS ferrous scrap index sees uptrend m-o-m in Feb’23

The Raw Material Data Aggregation Service (RMDAS) ferrous scrap price index increased m-o-m in Feb’23.
The average price of shredded scrap stood at $457/t in Feb’23, up $27/t m-o-m, prompt industrial composite scrap at $468/t, up $22/t, and the HMS index at $388/t, up by $19/t.
The index tracks US spot market prices of steel mills and foundries.
