Nucor Corporation, a leading US electric arc furnace steel producer, has raised its HRC prices by $5/short tonne (st) ($4/t) w-o-w to $1,010/st ($916/t) from $1,005/st ($912/t) a week earlier. This follows a $15/st ($14/t) increase in the previous week and marks the eighth consecutive weekly rise amid steady demand in the region.
