US: Manganese alloys imports rise by 10% m-o-m in September

Manganese alloys imports into the US increased by 10% to 75,056t in Sep’22 compared to 68,262 t in Aug’22, as per Customs data.
Out of total volumes, imports of ferro manganese were at 39,350 t, surged by 100% m-o-m, while silico manganese imports were at 35,706 t, down by 26% m-o-m.
Total manganese alloys imports rose 51% to 575,465 t in Jan-Sep’22.
