US steelmaker Cleveland Cliffs is likely to increase its long-term contract prices for automotive steel sheets such as hot-rolled coils, cold-rolled steel sheets and surface-treated steel sheets, as per Japan Metal Daily. The average price in 2022 was $1,300/t which is expected to reach $1,400/t in 2023. In addition, long-term contract prices of electrical sheets and stainless steel sheets may also increase.
