- Alcoa Corporation, primary aluminium producer of the US, reported its Q4CY22 results on 18 Jan 2023, as per the company’s website.
- Alumina production is down by 2% to 3 mnt due to a partial reduction at the San Ciprian refinery. In contrast, aluminium production is around 516,000 t, a rise of 4% q-o-q after the company restarted Alumar and Portland aluminium smelters.
