Metinvest, the largest integrated steel producer in Ukraine, produced 2.18 mn t crude steel in Q3 CY’20 due to greater hot metal production at both steelmaking facilities. In Q3, production of semi-finished grew 11% q-o-q to 980,000 t. Finished steel output stood at 1.48 mn t, up 15% q-o-q mainly due to recovery in demand for HRC and galvanized coils. Total crude steel output of the company during Jan-Sep’20 recorded 6.15 mn t.
