Ukraine: Zaporizhstal’s Steel Output in May’20 Declines 6% Y-o-Y

The crude steel production by Zaporizhstal in May’20 was recorded 321,500 MT, down by 6% Y-o-Y as compared to 342,000 MT in May’19. The company produced 391,700 MT pig iron and 269,100 MT of rolled products in May’20. The company reported weak demand for hot-rolled and cold-rolled coils in domestic and overseas market in May due to quarantine restrictions.
