Ukraine: Steelmakers’ rolled steel production increases by 16% y-o-y in Aug’24

Ukrainian steelmakers have released its production figures for Aug’24.

• Production volumes of rolled products increased by 16.3% y-o-y to 589,000 t. On m-o-m basis the output remained marginally stable in Aug’24.
• Steel production rose by 14.7% y-o-y to 690,700 t. In Aug’24, steel output decreased by 2.6% m-o-m.
• Pig iron output rose by 20.7% y-o-y to 643,600 t in Aug’24. The output rose by 3.6% m-o-m.
