Ukrainian miner and steel producer Metinvest has resumed operations at its re-rolling plants in the UK and the EU. The steel major has also turned active in exports of long products, as per company’s latest report. Impacted by the conflict with Russia, the steel major is only supplying billets to Bulgaria from its Ukraine plant while slab feedstocks for flat-rolling mills are sourced from third parties.
