Ukraine: Ferrexpo’s pellet production rises over 40% y-o-y in 9MCY’24

Ukraine’s Ferrexpo, a leading pellet exporter, recorded an output of 4.57 mnt in 9MCY’24, a significant rise of 42% y-o-y, as the company successfully operated 1-2 pelletising lines out of four, with a focus on higher-quality products.

• However, production fell 14% q-o-q to 1.27 mnt in Q3CY’24 compared to 1.48 mnt in Q2CY’24.
• Additionally, during Q3CY’24, the production of Ferrexpo DR pellets (FDPs) continued, with three shipments made.
