Ukraine: Ferrexpo’s pellet production dips 22% q-o-q in Q3CY’25

Ferrexpo, Ukraine’s leading pellet producer and exporter, recorded output of 638,963 t in Q3CY’25, down 22% from 821,882 t in Q2, due to liquidity issues from halted VAT refunds which prompted Ferrexpo to cut one pelletising line and raise concentrate output. 9MFY’25 production fell 39% y-o-y to 2.8 mnt.
Meanwhile, total iron ore concentrate production inched up by 36% to 871,323 t in Q3CY’25 against 640,202 t in Q2.
