Uranium Corporation of India Ltd (UCIL) is a PSE under Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), plays a very significant role in nuclear power generation in India. The company has invited a tender for purchase of 21,000 MT manganese ore at Turamdih and Jaduguda, Jharkhand.
Out of total quantity, 12,000 MT manganese ore is required at Turamdih and remaining 9,000 MT at Jaduguda. As per the delivery schedule, bidders needs to provide the material month wise i.e. 1,200 MT per month at Turamdih and 750 MT per month at Jaduguda.
Mine owners having past experience of supplying 14,000 MT manganese ore in any one of the last 3 years are only eligible to participate in the tender.
The offer shall remain valid for the period of 180 days from the date of the opening of the tender and it should be submitted on FOR destination basis for supply by road including loading and unloading.

MnO2: 42-45%
Moisture: 10% max
Size: 95% of the material shall be below 3mm size and 5% may be over size but below 10mm
The ordered quantity shall be divided between successful L1 and L2 parties in ratio of 70% and 30% subject to matching of L1 price by L2 party. In case, the price doesn’t match of L1 and L2, the company has reserved the right to place balance quantity also to L1 party.

The due date for bid submission is 22 Mar’17 by 12:30 hrs and tender opening is on same day at 15:00 hrs
