Emirates Steel has lowered rebar offers by $55/t, m-o-m, for Oct’21 due to subdued demand and falling import prices, SteelMint understands. Revised offers for rebar stand at $655/t exw, down from $710/t exw in Sep. Trade sources highlighted that an additional discount of $22/t is being offered on bulk purchases. Emirates Steel’s annual rebar production is around 2 mn t.
