Turkiye’s scrap import prices move up in recent deals from Canada

Turkiye’s imported scrap market sentiments turned positive following recent transactions.
A Black Sea region-based steelmaker and a Mediterranean region-based mill booked bulk cargoes of HMS (95:5) from a Canadian recycler at $475/t and $472/t, on CFR basis, respectively.
SteelMint’s USA-origin HMS (80:20) price assessment rose $5-7/t d-o-d to $460-465/t CFR.
