Turkiye’s imported scrap prices rise in recent deals

Turkiye’s imported ferrous scrap prices increased further in recent deals.
A Baltic-origin cargo containing HMS(80:20) was booked at $430/t and bonus at $450/t CFR Turkiye.
A UK-origin cargo of HMS(80:20) was sold at $428/t CFR while shredded scrap at $453/t, CFR for an Aegean-based steel mill. Moreover, a European-origin cargo comprising 16,000 t HMS(90:10) was booked at $439/t CFR and 24,000 t busheling at $467/t, CFR.
