Turkiye’s imported scrap market witnesses slight price uptick in recent deals

The Turkish scrap market saw deals concluded at $331-337/t CFR over the last four-five days, up from $327-332/t earlier.

• A West Marmara mill bought US-origin HMS (80:20) at $336/t and 26,000 t HMS and 14,000 t of HMS 1 and PNS mix from the EU at $337/t.
• An Aegean mill bought US-origin HMS (80:20) at $337/t, shredded and bonus at $355/t, and HMS (80:20) from France at $331/t.
