Turkiye’s imported scrap market witnesses multiple deals from US

The Turkish scrap market saw US and EU deals at $338-342/t CFR on 13 Jan’25, down by $1-2/t from previous trades.

• West Marmara mill:

1. US-origin cargo with 21,000 t HMS (85:15) at $338/t and 10,000 t of shredded at $355/t.
2. US-origin cargo with HMS (90:10), shredded, and bonus at $342/t and $359/t.

• East Marmara mill:
  

1. US-origin cargo with HMS (80:20) at $342/t.
2. Baltic-origin cargo with HMS (80:20) at $340/t.
