- Turkiye’s steel billets imports fell by 11.5% m-o-m to 405,180 t in Jan’23 from 457, 892 t in Dec’22, as per data recently released by Customs.
- Russia was the major exporter with 201,317 t followed by Oman with 89,611 t in January.
- Import volumes fell by 4.6% y-o-y as against 424,594 in Jan’22.
