Turkiye: Steel billet imports rise over 20% m-o-m in Oct’22

Turkiye’s steel billets imports rose by 25.30% m-o-m in Oct’22 to 446,018 t from 355,956 t in Sep’22, as per data recently released by Customs.
Russia was the major exporter with 332,232 t in the month under review.
Import volumes increased by 3% to 3.84 mnt y-o-y in Jan-Oct’22 as against 3.71 mnt in the year-ago period.
