Turkiye: Steel billet imports increase by 17%, m-o-m, in Nov’22

Turkiye’s steel billet imports rose by 17% m-o-m in Nov’22 to 521,885 t from 446,018 t in Oct, as per data recently released by customs.
Russia was the major exporter at 339,342 t in Nov.
Import volumes increased by 10% to 4.36 mnt y-o-y in Jan-Nov’22 as against 3.97 mnt in the year-ago period.
