Turkiye: Imported scrap prices shoot up by $15/t in recent deals

Turkiye’s imported scrap offers have increased significantly by $15/t in recently booked bulk cargoes from UK and USA.
Around 30,000 t of USA-origin mixed cargo comprising shredded, HMS and bonus, has been booked at an average price of $420/t CFR levels.
In another deal, around 24,000 t of UK-origin mixed cargo has been booked at an average price of $410/t, CFR Turkiye. Additionally, two more cargoes are heard to have been booked from USA at $407/t and $408/t CFR respectively.
