Turkiye: Imported ferrous scrap prices edge down in recent deal

Turkiye’s imported ferrous scrap prices decreased in a recent deal by Mediterranean-based steel mill.
The Baltic region cargo was comprised of 4,000 t of shredded, 19,500 t of HMS (80:20), and 5,700 t of bonus scrap, 2,000 of rail scrap, and 3,800 t of busheling/oxy scrap. Of this, shredded, HMS and bonus were booked at $420/t, $400/t, and $420/t CFR respectively.
The shipment is scheduled for end-Feb’23.
