Turkish imported scrap prices fell $3/t w-o-w to $337/t on 27 Nov’24 as buyers maintained pressure on recyclers.
- Recently, a Mediterranean mill booked EU-origin bulk cargo at $337/t for HMS (80:20) and $357/t for bonus (CFR Turkiye). Prices have been declining since the second week of Nov’24.
A participant stated, “The price drop shows no signs of slowing, even with winter’s seasonal disruptions.”
