A couple of bulk scrap deal was recently concluded from the US to a Turkish mill based in the Aegean and Mediterranean regions.
- HMS(80:20): $385/t; Shredded & bonus scrap: 405/t (each)
- HMS (85:15): $395.5/t; & shredded scrap: $410.5/t.
Market watchers anticipate a downward trend in prices due to weakening domestic demand for scrap in the US and anticipated sluggishness in the steel market.
