Turkiye: Ferrous scrap prices continue upward trend from Europe

Turkiye ferrous scrap prices were significantly up by $6/t in a recently concluded deal from Europe-origin.
A west Marmara region-based mill booked a bulk cargo comprising 9,500t HMS (80:20) scrap at $351/t, 13,000t shredded and 2,000t busheling scrap each at $371/t CFR Turkiye, SteelMint learnt from sources.
The bulk cargo booking is for December’s second-half (H2) shipments.
