Turkiye: Ferrous scrap imports fall by 14% m-o-m in September

Turkiye’s ferrous scrap imports were recorded at 1.38 mnt in Sept’22, down by 14% m-o-m from 1.6 mnt in August, as per SteelMint data.
The US continued to be the largest supplier at 354,820 t, followed by Denmark and Romania at 115,025 t and 94,517 t respectively.
A total volume of 16.62 mnt has been imported by the nation in Jan-Sept’22, down by 16% from the CPLY.
