Turkiye: Deep sea ferrous scrap import prices drop in recent deal

Turkiye’s scrap prices declined in a recent US-origin deal.
A bulk cargo containing HMS (80:20), shredded, and bonus was booked by a West Marmara region-based steel mill late last week at $418/t and $438/t CFR Turkiye respectively, sources informed.
SteelMint’s price assessment for US-origin HMS now stands at $425-27/t CFR.
