Imported scrap prices have slightly moved up this week as Turkish steel mills have been actively booking cargoes for late Nov- early Dec’20 arrivals. SteelMint learned from its sources that around seven bulk cargoes have been booked in the last two days from different origins. SteelMint’s assessment for USA origin HMS 1&2 (80:20) stands at $293/t CFR Turkey, up by around $5 w-o-w.
