Turkish buyers remained active for US-origin scrap, booking four bulk cargoes this week. Current prices are consistent as compared to earlier days in the week.
A Mediterranean region-based mill secured two US-origin bulk scrap cargoes:
- One with 15,000 t of HMS (90:10) at $395/t, 10,000 t of shredded at $410/t, and 5,000 t of PNS scrap at $410/t CFR Turkiye.
- Another cargo with HMS (80:20) at $390/t and shredded at $410/t CFR Turkiye.
