Imported scrap prices in Turkey have moved up marginally in a deal concluded for USA origin cargo, sources have reported to SteelMint. A Mediterranean-region based steel mill has booked USA based bulk cargo, comprising of HMS 1&2 (90:10) at $485/t, and shredded at $492/t CFR. SteelMint assessment for USA origin HMS 1&2(80:20) stands at $482/t CFR level, up by $4/t w-o-w.
