Turkey’s ICDAS contracted Danieli to supply a new wire rod mill to be installed at Biga steelworks, where already two wire rod lines supplied by Danieli are operational since 2005. With this new mill, the steelmaker intends to increase its market share of wire rod coils and add more advanced steel grades to its product portfolio. Operations at this new line are expected to start by Q2 CY’21.
