Turkey  Pig Iron imports showed a sharp rise

On
limited production of Pig Iron in Turkey, import from CIS countries (maximum quantity), Ukraine
(109,331t) & Russia (18,805t) saw a rise of 0.5mt in Jan-April.

Imports
in April was up by 10% from March and by 151% (134,153t) from April '11. 

Trades happened at $478/t
cfr, down by $14/t from March. 

In
Jan-Apr, imports in Turkey increased by 58% (499,655 t) y-o-y.
