Turkiye: Steel billets imports increase over 10%, m-o-m, in Sep’22

Turkiye’s steel billets imports rose by 12.71% m-o-m in Sep’22 to 3,55,956 t from 3,15,821 t in Aug’22, as per data recently released by Customs.
Russia was the major exporter with 2,65,303 t in September.
Import volumes dropped by 5% to 3.4 mnt y-o-y in Jan-Sep’22 as against 3.57 mnt in the year-ago period.
