Turkey: Steel billets imports fall by 15%, m-o-m, in Feb’22

Turkey’s steel billets imports fell significantly by 15.59% in Feb’22 to 0.36 mnt compared with 0.42 mnt in Jan’22, as per data recently released by customs.
Russia was the largest exporter at 0.29 mnt, followed by Ukraine at 0.03 mnt.
Also, import volumes fell by 9% on the year to 0.78 mnt as against 0.86 mnt in Jan-Feb’21.
