Turkish Silicomanganese imports increased by 47.6% m-o-m in Mar ’21 in line with rising demand on account of higher crude steel production. According to World Steel Association, production of crude steel in Turkey went up by 13.33% m-o-m to 3.4mn t in Mar ’21. However, Turkish Ferro Manganese imports fell by 25.2% m-o-m in Mar’21. The current Silicomanganese price is at around $1,200/t (60-14) FOB India.
