Turkey, the world’s third largest Pig iron importer has imported 0.10 MnT Pig iron in Nov’16 according to trade statistics released by Turkey customs.
Turkey Pig iron imports have registered a growth of 25% M-o-M in Oct’16 against 0.08 MnT in Sept’16. On the contrary, imports were down by 17% Y-o-Y against 0.12 MnT in Oct’15.
In the first 10 months of 2016, the country’s imports were registered at 0.95 MnT, up by 8% as compared to 0.88 MnT in the same time period prior this year. 
Country’s imports majority of Pig iron from Ukraine, Russia and Brazil. In Oct’16, imports from Ukraine has registered at 0.04 MnT and from Russia it was 0.06 MnT.
