Turkey, the world’s third largest Pig iron importer has imported 92,929 MT Pig iron in Nov’16 according to trade statistics released by Turkey customs.
Turkey Pig iron imports have registered a downfall of 11% M-o-M in Nov’16 against 105,003 MT in Oct’16. On the contrary, imports were down by 16% Y-o-Y against 110,160 MT in Nov’15.
In the first 11 months of 2016, the country’s imports were registered at 1.04 MnT, up by 6% as compared to 0.98 MnT in the same time period prior this year.
Country’s imports majority of Pig iron from Ukraine, Russia and Brazil. In Nov’16, imports from Ukraine has registered at 59,424 MT and from Russia it was 33,492 MT.
