- Imported scrap prices into Turkey have risen further by around $5/t in a deal heard recently.
- A Baltic-origin scrap cargo containing 34,000 t of HMS 1&2 (80:20) was booked at $463/t CFR, 2,000 t of shredded scrap at $478/t CFR and 4,000 t of bonus material, 1,000 t of rails and 4,000 t busheling material at $483/t CFR each. The cargo was booked by a steel mill based in the Mediterranean region.
- The deal has been finalised for Nov-Dec’21 shipments.
