Imported scrap prices in Turkey have increased further by in a recent deal concluded on 11th Nov’20. A West Marmara region-based steelmaker has booked a cargo, comprising of US HMS(80:20) at a $306.5/t CFR Turkey basis for Dec’20 shipment. SteelMint’s assessment now stands at $307/t, up by $10-11/t w-o-w.
