Turkey: Imported scrap prices edge up in recent booking

Turkey’s deepsea ferrous scrap import prices inched up $1-2/t as fresh cargo from Europe and Venezuella was booked by a mill, SteelMint learnt from sources.
A Benelux cargo comprising 25,000 t HMS 1&2 (80:20) was booked at $503/t CFR Turkey.
In another deal too, around 25,000 t HMS of Venezuella-origin booked at $509/t CFR, Turkey.
The cargoes was booked by a mill based in the Mediterranean region for late Apr’22 loading.
