Imported scrap prices in Turkey have decreased by $10/t in the recent deals concluded towards the end of last week, credible sources have confirmed to SteelMint. A 25,000t HMS cargo from Venezeula was booked at $415.5/t CFR Turkey for first half May shipment. In another deal heard, Baltic origin HMS (80:20) has been booked at $422/t, CFR.
