Turkey: Import duty on some steel products extended till Sept

Turkey has extended provisional import duty of 5% on 13 steel products – mainly HR coils, coated products and alloyed semis – from July 15 to September 30 in a bid to cushion the domestic industry and generate employment. The EU and other FTA countries are outside the purview of the duty imposed on April 18.
